Cancellation Policy

TERMS, REFUNDS AND DRIVER WAIVER: 1.The student must be at least 14-years and 8-months old by the first day of class. 2. Verification by birth certificate required. 3. The parent or guardian agrees to pay the amount of $375, which needs to be paid in full by the 1st day of class. There will be a $30 fee for a check returned for non-sufficient funds. A certificate of completion will not be issued until full payment is received. Cash, check, credit card, or money order accepted for payment. 4. The student must attend 24 hours of classroom instruction, six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, four hours of observation time, and score at least a 70% on the final exam to receive a certificate of completion. If a passing score is not achieved, a student will be given up to two additional attempts to pass the test. 5. Student Code of Conduct – “I agree to conduct myself properly while in the classroom and driver education vehicle, and understand that any disrespect towards the instructor or other students will be grounds for my dismissal from the course and that no refund will be issued.” 6. There is a $20 fee for lost or damaged textbooks. 7. In the event of a driving appointment cancellation without 24 hours prior notice, or a student is more than five minutes late for a driving lesson, a rescheduling fee of $25 will be charged. 8. A student may miss up to two days with a reasonable excuse (e.g., illness, family matter). The days must be made up in a future Segment 1 class. REFUND POLICY: All sales are final. Payments can be transferred to another Buckle In Driving Academy class or location. In order to transfer payments, you must let the office know via email a minimum of seven days prior to the first day of your scheduled class. DRIVING WAIVER: Section 33 (d) of the Driver Education Provider and Instructor Act requires that at least two students must be in a vehicle during behind the wheel (BTW) instruction unless a parent waives this requirement in writing. I, the Parent/Legal Guardian of the Student, waive this requirement. I understand that my son/daughter must still complete at least 4 hours of observation time as a passenger in a driver education vehicle being driven by another driver education student. * Dash cameras are utilized for the safety of your child. *By selecting to book a Segment 1 class, you agree with these terms and conditions.
